1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TraceNode ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

TraceNode provides an AI-powered video-to-text conversion API and editor interface. The Service analyzes video content to extract visual descriptions, audio transcripts, background elements, on-screen text, and supplementary notes.

3. Account Creation & Access

User accounts are provisioned by TraceNode administrators. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload or process illegal, infringing, or harmful content
• Abuse the API through excessive requests or automated attacks
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying models
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
• Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Credits & Payment

TraceNode operates on a prepaid credit system. Credits are consumed based on video processing usage. All credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Unused credits do not expire unless your account is terminated.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership rights to content you upload. By using the Service, you grant TraceNode a limited license to process and analyze your content solely to provide the Service. TraceNode retains all rights to the platform, technology, and underlying models.

7. Data Processing & Privacy

We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Video uploads are stored temporarily for processing and may be retained for service improvement purposes. We use third-party AI services (AssemblyAI, Google Gemini) to analyze content.

8. Limitation of Liability

TraceNode is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in processing results
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Data loss or corruption
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the past 12 months.

9. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without notice, for violations of these terms or any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law
